LCS is just going to use him in a pseudo Tahm Kench strat, running him with somebody like Kog and making the ADC impossible to gank.
The guy has never received a nerf in his existence. He's pretty balanced.
If you go through with this, Bard will be complete and utter cancer, and he'll end up getting gutted because a handful of people figured out that playing him like a little bitch was overpowered.

p3tm4ster1 votesAlcoves aren't going to make him any more powerful than he originally was, and just to be clear bard will never get nerfed because he's not OP, there is no build under which endgame bard out damages an actual carry, which is exactly how he's designed, hes a great stunner, a great engage, but a mediocre damage.

With this change, he's flat out broken.
The only thing that would save him from nerfs at that point is that pro players don't know how to play him.
A Bard sitting in the middle of the lane is nearly impossible to gank with this change, since he can simply zip that Kog back to his tower.

Bârd1 votesThe last time I saw him picked in pro play, the guy went Hail of Blades (something that's basically just a meme build) and built Athenes>Liandrys, with only a couple good ults in the entire match and nearly getting his teammates killed with his tunnels.
