I thought it was pretty fun... even though you can do it in a Custom match anyday..

maybe or maybe not. It could happen next year in summer because during summer for NA is when Australia celebrates Christmas. They are during events different instead of having the Halloween/harrowing event in October they decide its better to change it so the Dev team isn't forced to meet holiday Events such as Halloween or Christmas for an example on a deadline schedule.\

it could also still happen this winter or Xmas. Riot has basically said we will put it out when we are ready.

Wasn't it supposed to be for winter? As besides Christmas, I mean. And doesn't this thread belong in "Maps and Modes"?

Not sure but I do know this came straight from katey about events being delayed or done at different times because of holiday reasons.

That's valid if you're living in a place where you celebrate winter holidays in December. However, if you live someone else, like Australia, Christmas is in the summer months. While there may not be snow, it's their 'holiday season'. I'm not saying this is something we'd do, just putting things in a global perspective. :] I'm not 100% sure are what the plans are for upcoming events as far as timelines, etc., but as we go along, always feel free to drop a line on the boards, Reddit, etc.

We have had santa skins and skins that have been for Xmas and events for Xmas.
