Yes the balance team is full of incompetent insert insult but it's more like a 50/50 because riot is trying to keep their shizo balance of trying to appease low elo, high elo and pro play.
So we end up with a game that is snowbally and damage wise overloaded as hell, yet at the same time you can't carry without your team because of ANTI SNOWBALL mechanics.
This game is such a clusterfuck in several ways and i could go into detail what the actual problems are but people don't want to hear it and riot doesn't care so whatever.
It's a bit late to NOW start to be "more transparent" considering this game is as good as dead. That's my observation of Qing up as a plat 2 player into a game full of gold 2, one silver 1 midlaner one plat 4 enemy and one low gold.
Like what the fuck is going on with this game. How can i as plat 2 be thrown into a game with a fuckin silver 1 midlaner.
Also, believing you can balance this game around numbers is actually so fuckin stupid i know i will feel physical pain when i read what they have to say. It's literally so dumb. No "number" or "data" can ever explain to you how much it fuckin sucks to play darius into like neeko or vlad top. But riot sees WAIT A MINUTE, DARIUS HAS A WINRATE THAT SHOWS HE IS GOOD.

Alistar crap. Do they expect the playerbase to be happy that they introduced something new in 2019 when they could have done the same excact thing since season 6, where the game started going downhill? And now lets be serious, are you really think they are will hear the playerbase? They will only see what we ban and what we pick, not what we say to improve their game. If it was to literally say "we want to hear what you think and what we should do to fix our damn game" then yes, I would applaud them, I would start giving money into the game again just for that but no, they won't do that and we all know it.
But, lets wait and see even tho I don't think there is salvation for them nor their game anymore.
