Taric Talk

In the current support meta it seems that tanky cc champions are the way to go. Taric can be considered a tank support champion. His W provides extra armor for his adc which is awesome. But the way Taric is now, He can't give much to his team. With only one piece of CC and high cool downs to all his abilities, A leona or thresh would be a way better pick then Taric. Do you have any plans to buff Taric anytime soon? The gem master needs help to fit into the support meta. Maybe dazzle could have a cone effect instead of point and click stun?

Taric has a ton of hidden power. Just by buying a frozen heart, you get your adc an armor shred, an armor buff, and the attack speed slow aura, plus enough mana to keep your heal going for a bit. If they buffed him in any meaningful way, he would become a monster. Its the reason why he is going to get another gameplay update someday.

But rush frozen heart instead of iceborn. It might feel like you are doing less, but you are actually doing more.

Yeah, I don't really mind Taric the way he is now. The only thing I would change would be his E. Sort of a cone effect, but I was thinking of a short dash then stunning anyone in front of him.

Would be cool if it could jump down from ledges for some pretty cool plays in the river. I would say it's OP, but I think it would just be ok with the current champs.

Revert the changes in the 3.15 patch. From the wiki

V3.15: Gemcraft Armor scaling reduced to 20% from 30%. Shatter Fixed a bug where Shatter's aura was granting 15% of Taric's armor instead of the intended 12%. Armor scaling on the damage reduced to 20% from 30%. Shred reduced to 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 from 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30. Armor scaling on the shred reduced to 5% from 10%.

There. He's fixed and stands out from the rest of the tanky supports.
