I just wanted to post this because I am curious to see what others think.

If league had an offline mode, what do you think it would be like? In my opinion, it would be epic if there were short levels where you could play a part in a champion's lore. For example, if there was a level where you could play as Vi trying to catch Jinx. Lore-wise, she never does catch her, so that's how the level would need to end. It would help tie in the lore more with the gameplay aspect and could potentially be liked by many.

Anyway, that was just my idea. Do you guys have any?

EDIT: Most of you made a valid point in how it would work better as its own game since League is a MOBA. Thank you guys for that thought and for the positive feedback :)

I love it. An offline PvE mode based on story. Would be great right now while the servers are down but outside of that scenario I still would love some story based gameplay.

It's smart but it doesn't really fit the theme of a moba. I think it would be great for RIOT to make a spinoff based around the ionian invasion or something though. The lore is pretty cool .

it would just be custom game where you can add AI.. but if i remember they had to move alot onto their own servers because people were going into the code and changing values. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdxEboXOcnA basically some people feel the urge to cheat so riot wont be able to do an offline mode quickly.

That would be an entirely different game. I'd be interested in the game, but it wouldn't be this one.

Anyway, if they had an offline mode, it would probably just be you playing with a bunch of bots.

There is a reason why games are online only, its due to prevent hacking. By making it offline they have to give access to all files making it easy to hack.

Problem with it is that Riot mentioned it'd be easier to use cheats if they added an offline mode, as then they'd have to put more stuff on your computer that could be potentially used.

However, I wouldn't mind a second application for a story mode. Not Moba style, but kind of RPG style let's say. It'd be great for learning the lore and doesn't really have to be that big either. Of course, they'd have to make a brand new game, but if using League of Legends itself runs that extra risk, might be a good side project.

I would love an PvE campaign like in Warcraft III that takes you to The Fields of Justice or through lore of some champs, such as Rengar vs Kha'Zix in like a juggernaut battle but League is a MOBA so we won't see that, at least as a gamemode or in League whatsoever. Still I would love an RPG like campaign that takes you through Demacia,Void and rivalries of champs so hopefully we will see that as a game in the feature.

I would like offline mode where you could just play league against bots. Please dont hate me for saying this, but dota has offline mode where you can play the game against bots. ;_;

Id love to have it, however riot would just say its another way to have sandbox mode. Cause if we had a offline vs bots id definitely practice my flash over walls

I love the idea of an offline lore type gameplay. Or just something offline in general whether it be a practice type thing or it be lore based or all of the above. I'd love to learn all the lore as I haven't been playing long so I feel like that would be a great accessory in helping me accomplish this goal.
