Blame the Support

So, one of my friend ADCs a lot, and I support them very often. Whenever I do, I always do whatever I can to keep him alive (Healing, Stunning, other CCing) And I usually end up helping. Sadly, said friend isn't necessarily the best at the game, and since they usually ADC, they usually blame the support for their mistakes. In some cases it is the support's fault (Running away when the ADC is going in, etc).

 But yeah, I was hoping that there are other people with this problem, because it gets annoying at times. Supporting as fun, but when you don't have a good ADC, then it's pretty much over. All you can really do is poke and hope for a kill. Anywho, comment below if you have this problem too!

They can blame the support all they want; I just mute them because it's usually not my fault they die doing something stupid.

I always blame the support. Too bad I'm usually the one playing support. :(

as an ADC main, if either one dies, it's usually both of their faults (unless one does something impossibly stupid).

There's always something you/they could have done better.

Normally it is only the not as good adc and things like that who point at the support. Don't worry people like to point fingers at people as to why they are losing and the person who is 0-5-23 normally as they are not suppose to have kills on people like raka, nami, and janna. Trust me almost every support main gets that I speak from experience you just have to remember at times there is always the next game and hey you might not get the same people the next time. As for your friend bashing on you for doing your job my only advice is just don't play with them.

Yeah, its all over when you dont have a good adc, and quite frankly if u run away it isn't your fault because for one, the enemy would score a double kill or possibly you being aced. If you're smart, keep yourself and your adc alive by thinking smarter that your adc. It's not your fault, you're a support, if you weren't there, the adc would die a whole lot more.

It's not over if you have a bad ADC, you just have to be a good enough support.

I had an Ashe as my ADC while I was supporting with Lulu. The Ashe could NOT DODGE Blitz's grab to save her life... So I played around that. I knew she would get grabbed, so I was constantly ready to "Trannssssmobulate!" the enemy ADC to negate the CC on my ADC, evening about the damage between the ADCs since they were both CC'd.

Around 15 minutes into the game, the enemy bot lane allin'd on the Ashe, I saved my ult until they overcommitted, and I picked up the double kill. All while Ashe was AFK Auto Attacking them... without moving at all.

Bad ADC doesn't mean "lost bot lane", it just means more challenging bot lane.

A lot of the time, there are things that you can do better as the support to work with your adc and win the lane even if your adc is bad.

However, sometimes your adc is just so bad that they can't be saved.

They miss cs
They can't trade
They put themselves at risk of being engaged on all the time
etc etc etc

When you come across an adc who you know you can't carry, often it's better to buy yourself a pair of mobi boots and roam to the other lanes and jungle, trying to pick up kills and support from there.

If your adc sucks, but your mid laner is a god, go support the midlaner, and get them even more fed! All that you can do by staying bot is feed the enemy twice as many kills.
