I feel like there has suddenly been a spike in damage recently

I'm exploding quicker than normal. Are we witnessing damage creep or is it just me getting worse in skill level? Because I die so quickly recently that its becoming actually boring to play. Nothing more fun than making a single mistake and being bursted in less than a second...
