I can't tell you how many times I've seen people go for dragon when their mid towers are free. If you get towers, your minions push harder for you (that's a bit OP). Not to mention the map control we get.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone play a champion then refuse to stack (I.e. Kindred/Viegar) simply because they refused to read the patch notes/ability description to see what it does.

I can't tell you how many times people think they can counter jungle a skarner when they know he is alive because "He doesn't do enough damage to kill me".

It pains me to see that people are learning the hard way about new things rather than READING SOMETHING THAT WILL TAKE 5 MINUTES OF THEIR LIFE.

Yeah but you still get stuff like:

"I forgot they changed masteries."

"WHY AM I BURNING?!"

"What's a Keystone?"

One easy way to fix this (might be too late now):

Delete all the named pages for your old masteries that are now blank. I deleted all mine. I can quickly create one even before a game, especially since they require much less strategy and choice than before. Plus a partial page is better than none if they don't finish.

Delete the old blank pages, people will realize "Oh shit, where's my masteries?" They will then make a new one. All mine are named different now anyways, due to the keystones and renamed trees.

Or a pop up indicator saying "Your mastery page is blank. Do you wish to make changes?" during selection. This at least causes awareness for future games, and they may be able to get a partial page. It's better than none. Doing this before queue when people have all blank masteries would be best.

You'd think players would at least wonder why their screen suddenly turned blue.

This only seems to happen either against bots, or when my teammate is playing against Illaoi.

This is all of low elo, "WHAT DOES THE NEW CHAMP EVEN DO, HOW DO I PLY HER" - wait why are you playing her in ranked if you didn't even read her abilities

Well I tend to tell people that the champ I play feels strong, and I can understand people getting suprised by damage output and calling it op.

I read that stuff, I just never remember it. And this is probably the reason why I'll never be higher than platinum-I just never know the abilities of most of the champions. It's just so much harder to actually understand something well enough to use it well in game than it is to just simply read it.

I had a teammate ask me yesterday what the little swirls on jungle camps were for when Kindred was on the other team. This was ranked. Thankfully I was jungling and I knew to deny them if at all possible.

This happened to me in an hour long one for all game. The guy had no stacks and didnt even read Kindred's passive because "Who would read something that is a paragraph long?"
