Why banning toxic from rank is the trickiest trick ever - and the best idea.

I see what you did there. This actually reformed me - no joke.

I recently got an 8 game ban from rank. I'm not really sure it's 100% justified. When I compare my behavior to most other peoples behavior I think i'm definitely on the good side. I'm only ever rude to trolls or people flaming other members of my team. And then i mostly make funny quips more than bully them. I never get banned because when people review my tribunal they realize that I'm not overly mean. But somehow this got me an 8 game rank suspension (probably because the suspensions are automatic and don't come from tribunal) - something I'm okay with and I probably deserve.

But omg. Normal draft pick is the most painful thing ever at the moment. Riot has forced me to play 8 games with the worst people on earth. Every game someone goes ape shit flame status. Or trolls my tripple top. Or AFKS. By putting all the "bad people" in one mode I've learned my lesson. If I frustrate people even half as much as these people frustrate me I genuinely feel bad. Normal Draft is the Lord of The Flies of LOL at the moment. But instead of a bunch of middle school kids landing on an island its people from a penitentiary... of murders... who kick puppies for fun.
