Why did we remove the fall back ping?

Fall back and danger are two completely different things.

Yea, because changing the client ping system majorly is a "glitch".

They removed the button from the map, but still left the ctrl v ping in the game.

Probably default hotkeys got changed for v. Ctrl+click still works. So you can either just use ctrl+click or you can probably fix it by changing hotkeys. Fall back ping was certainly not removed.

Yellow. Pressing "V" now shows the ambiguous Blue Dot.

I really hope this is a bug, since that was the ping hotkey I used the most.

Ok then, it's 100% intentional. Riot definitely put that feature in without adding it to the patch notes. They do that all the time with new behavior that isn't bugs. Especially one that would cause so much grief if unannounced. Just like if they put in a feature without telling us that remaps all your keys, but keeps the gui the same. lol

Like all those times skins start stealing other skins VO and such. Features that they definitely don't fix later as bugs. lol

Honestly, it may be a bug. But we can't say for 100% certainty that they didn't remove it so they could modify it in a future patch for any beneficial pings (like "Warded" or maybe even a definite "Mid/Top/Bot missing" ping).

The opportunities are endless at this point.

It was mostly used to troll,insult, or distract a person, just like the '?' enemy missing ping. The ratio of times someone was legitimately signaling danger vs trying to troll/insult me (ie look what this is noob is doing while im standing around doing nothing pinging him) is probably 1:10

This needs to be much higher. It was VERY useful in teamfights due to its unique sound. Needs to be hotfixed back in, pronto.

Thought i was the only one. It seems to be moved to Ctrl+MB1 (left click) i much prefer it on the old V+MB1 so i dont have to shift my hand a bit. I could just remap it but V+MB1 is what we're most used to. Hope its a bug.
