Who honestly thought this was a good idea?

Riven, Kled, and Lee sin. See, Riot recently nerfed Yasuo, because tank Yasuo was over powered. Yasuo was able to get tanky while still doing a downright broken amount of damage. Yet, Riven, Lee Sin, and to a lesser extent Kled, all have on thing in common. A shield that scales with AD. Who in the name of all that is holy, thought, that this was a good idea? Lee sin is currently ravaging lower elo game with very little counter play, and Riven has always been strong. I mean, why play a champion that has to choose between damage OR tank, when these champs get tanky from damage items. This is mind boggling. But it doesn't even stop there. All three of these champ get Hard CC, extreme mobility, and are nearly impossible to shut down when even ahead by a little bit. But, atleast with Riven and Kled, if you shut them down hard early, they will have to fight to come back. But oh not Lee, not Lee Sin. I was in a match with Evelynn recently, where i had killed the enemy Lee sin three times before he even got a gank in. I was two levels ahead, and doing exceptionally well in gold. He ganked once successfully, the mid laner giving him the kill. This is ALL it took for this Lee sin to come back, and be tanky enough to survive burst after burst, while still able to pop even other bruisers like balloons, with nothing but damage items. (maw does not count as a tank item).

And don't even get me started on Fizz. His passive is a permanent Phantom Dancer essentially. He moves through units, takes less damage from autos, his dash and his flip both provide him some of the best maneuverability in the game, on top of this. He does massive sustained AND burst damage. His flip E, does 270 damage at max level, TWICE, and on top of that scales with a full 70% of his AP. Are you kidding me? An ability that essentially makes him invincible for a full second also does 540 BASE damage, meaning that double tapping this skill can nearly one shot squishies towards the end of the game. Oh, and lets not forget that this has only a 6.5 second cooldown with full 45% cdr. His dash? a 1.95. There's also his 45 second ult with the punching power to one shot people, that is UNCLEANSABLE.

And lastly, you have Ekko. Same ridiculous mobility, but Ekko gets tanky with full damage in a different way. His goofy dash, and ult. His dash, with only a 4.55 second cd with max level and cdr, is a major gap closer AND a huge damage buff, boosting his next attack by 145, though only 40% of his ap. This alone isn't what makes him broken. His ult, with only a 45 second cd at max level and cdr, can pretty much undo an assassins burst. Even if it sets him farther back down the lane, his dash and his Q slow allow him to catch up effortlessly, even without his stun. He has tremendous mobility, chase, damage, and survivability, all at the same time. not to mention this thing has a full 150% scalling with 400 base damage at max level. So, easily over a thousand damage ability, that changes his position, regens a large portion of the damage he's taken, all on a low cdr.

All these champions have extremely high damage bases, with strong scalling. When ahead, (or even when not ahead, looking at you Lee Sin), they can get extremely tanky without any tank items whatsoever, are equipped with multiple forms of CC, and have extreme mobility. This is not ok. Now, granted, these are high skill cap champions. To achieve full potential with these champs, you have to be good, really good with them. That doesn't make them not over powered.
