Elo hell is real

For those of you who say elo hell isnt real or it's a matter or carrying, I played for the first time (I'm bronze 1) mid against an , I was doing decent in lane, had only given up two kills and gotten one against the jungler, held my lane and applied pressure constantly despite jungle feeding ahri a kill, the other lanes were able to push and and I were pretty evenly matched if I dodged her E. So when they were losing their nexus turrets Ahri revealed she was plat 5 saying, "nice to know plat 5 can't carry bronze elo" this isn't the first time I've done good against someone higher elo than me on a smurf, they say they're gold mostly and rarely some plat but if I can hold my lane against a plat my first time against who counters Ryze, it goes to show that some players truly are held back because of their teams in ranked. I've beaten golds in mid but my team feeds their laners, just look at the Ahri, despite her doing decent in lane her team fed and not even her being plat could save the game
