Idea for Taliyah

I've been playing a few games of Taliyah, think that she is super fun and balanced, but one thing that I found annoying while playing her was that you didn't know when the worked ground debuff would wear off an a specific piece of terrain. I think that worked ground is a really cool mechanic to work around, but I think that not knowing when that ground is available for full use again can make laning in particular feel like a guessing game as to when you can do things in lane, (set up for coordinated ganks, play aggressively, all in etc). I think a simple solution to this would be to illuminate the "ring" on the ground which indicates it is worked when you stand on it. And as the timer for the worked ground debuff goes down the illumination would be seen on less and less of the ring. Note that I don't mean illuminating the inside of the ring, I mean the ring itself, and then make it count down like a timer, similar to inhibitors.

This sounds like an idea that would be relatively simple to implement, not too visually distracting and particularly useful in the laning phase. Taliyah's at a stage where QoL buffs like these could help her without throwing her off balance, and more generally it might be worth implementing ring indicators as a standard for all zones with a long cooldown.

After playing so many Taliyah games, I honestly sometimes forget worked ground even exists for the most part. I barely use my Q in lane anyway, and when I roam worked ground never matters.

I'd support some kind of indicator.

Or at least have an icon pop up with the standard circle timer on the HUD

I feel like her passive is just... really, really irrelevant; It's not powerful enough to keep up with the rest of the meta champs. It doesn't have to be overloaded, but it's just underwhelming.

Personally i'd like them to make worked ground a little easier to see. Most of the time i just kind of ignore it, but when i need to get a very specific position it's hard to see when you're not using her skin.

I think casting q on worked ground should remove te ground, and fire 3 lower damage, slowing shots, so you can micro manage your zones

What about also making the worked ground slow enemy champions movement speed for the same amount as it increases Taliyah's? Like 10% or something. It would at least make running on worked ground a little more viable. Or is this a bad idea?

I would hope only you can see the circle and not the enemy though so they cant prepare for when it goes away.

Visible to all players, only Taliyah's teammates, or only Taliyah?
