If you want old Galio again, you must deal with having age-old non-ultimate abilities in order to be an MR tank. Sure the ultimate is good, but without Flash, it’s no engage tool.

If you want old Ryze again, you gotta deal with all the point-and-click abilities that will give you kidney stones at top lane.

If you want old Irelia again, she might as well be gutted late game, because she is just a one-hit wonder girl: go in and do damage before you die. Also, CC means nothing to her in a team fight.

If you want old Akali, then you have a means to counter her shroud with vision wards. That doesn’t stop her from melting your face with three inescapable dashes, along with inescapable abilities, AND a blink (did you all forget that akali’s old shroud was a blink, and granted her MR and Armor???)

If you wanted the old Rune system, it must come with purchasing your runes again. What’s that, you don’t want to give your monies to Riot because you were saving up for Neeko? Too bad. What, you need a new rune page during champion select because you can’t be asked to support and you don’t have the “+3 gold gained passively” runes? Oh teh wellz. You asked for it, so take it or else you can’t jungle without that extra armour, nor get the right amount of wards without that specific rune.

If you want the old Masteries back, then go ahead. They won’t have the same level of impact, nor would it give you any sorts of choices or flexibility. If you wanna play Alistar support, you just get Courage of the Colossus, that dinky little shield, instead of having the options of Aftershock or Guardian. That’s it. No other options. SO MUCH STRATEGY.

If you want the old Season 4 back, then hope you like Kassadin banned for 99% of all games. Also, half the roster wouldn’t even exist, so don’t think playing Zed in midland or Ornn in top lane is a viable happenstance for Season 4.

Sure, reverts can happen, but don’t even think about saying it willy-nilly unless you know of their drawbacks.

I only do my promos to get the skins while you do ranked and stay on platinum, I hardly see any point trying this kind of argument. We both could be grand master and say stupid shit about game's balance.

So as I said, before asking for past seasons like they were godlike when they weren't, how about learning to play in the present and git gud?

No amount of downvote in whine city (gameplay) will make me say otherwise. You are all lazy.

For example, it isn't because I am silver that I can't tell my friend who is gold to get better.

A lot of coach in league of legends aren't especially incredible in the game but they do coach very high level player. Theorycraft, analysis, etc. If a bronze tell me that I should be better because I whine that I died as soraka under the turret of a pantheon, do you think he is wrong because he is bronze?

Even the best of the best feel they aren't good enough, so yeah.

Since you didn't mention anything about removing items, I'm assuming this item 3194 will still be in the game, which will help a ton.

Inescapable dashes? She has even more inescapable dashes now than she did before. At least her old dash was locked until level 6 and it was point and click, meaning you had to have a target in order to dash with it, whereas her current dash doesn't. Plus, her old dash didn't stun either.

Inescapable abilities? What, are you talkign about her point and click Q that dealt less than 150 damage at max rank and only had a 40% AP ratio?

A blink? Wow, a blink with only 270 range? I'd rather take a blink that's less than 3 quarters of a Flash than an ability that restores a huge chunk of your energy bar AND gives true stealth.

And no, her old W hasn't given her resistances since season 4.

Nobody is asking for a complete revert of runes, right down to how you had to buy them.

The only thing Riot had to do was make runes free and editable in champ select. That's it. They didn't need to do the whole "Runes Reforged" thing.

They won't have the same level of impact? This is a good thing. Masteries are just supposed to be minor stat bonuses. They aren't supposed to be the end all be all thing that the entire game is centered around.

It wouldn't have the same sort of choices and flexibility? The old masteries allowed for way more customizability with how you could allocate points into exactly what you wanted where you wanted it.

Asking for a complete revert all the way back to Season 4 is not going to do much good, but making it as close to Season 4 as possible along with applying some of the lessons learned over the years sounds a lot better than leaving the game in the state it's currently in.

Also, good. Most of the newer releases are balance nightmares that are either completely useless or stupidly overpowered. They don't even deserve to exist.

I think the funniest and most true statements here are the Kassadin and Runes Pages ones. I absolutely hated buying runes, it was one of the most annoying, trivial grinds in the game and it sucked a lot of fun out of League for me.

Runes Reforged isn't perfect, but god damn, at least I don't have to play 50+ games getting 90 IP per match just to get one Quint that's worth 2 AD.

especially with the new currency system. Grinding BE for runes would take so damn long.

Please man, better have them say damage is still OP after riot nerf it time after time. Riot could remove runes, assassins and lethality that "Damage is OP, I died to an ahri, broken champ who kill me. OMG DID YOU SEE HOW MUCH RAMMUS DID CC ME WITH NO COUNTERPLAY?", etc.

People don't want to balance the game, they want only what catter to them.

Zed was released in S2. I agree that many people here suffer from a severe case of rose-tinted glasses, but if you're going to complain about that at least get your facts right.

Wrong. The old masteries had way more impact on top of having multiple choices too chose from as well as better defensive options.

It's riot and their stupidity that has been ongoing for the later seasons. LoL is dumbed down so much since then.
