What the hell is this. Tells me to play an extra game to better place players or something for a new placement rank in flex queue, I lose because of a 4v5, with the afk being a level 30 unranked, never ranked before, and I get demoted from silver 1 to silver 3. ??? I don't understand the point of this shit.

1wolfpack1 votestrust me, you would have gotten demoted to silver 3 win or lose, riot said they screwed up on the placements matches and where they ranked players after it, so this 1 game was to fix it. And so if riot thought they placed you too high after those 10 games they were gonna send you down a few pegs regardless

Lord Desert1 votesBecause of the MMR mismatch in Flex Queue, you got reset to the original starting point (pre placements). But remember this is only Preseason, the rank you accomplish now WILL BE RESET AGAIN! The rank you get in preseason does only influnece the placement in Season 7 to a SMALL extend! (only your starting point in season 7 is affected by Preseason ranks) Sidenote: 1-2 Tier drops are completely normal in preseason.
I.E.: You were Plat 5 at the end of the season, were placed high Silver after placements, now got placed low Silver. If you now climb to Plat again, you will then only be placed in low Gold at the start of Season 7!
So dont worry to much about the current placement!
