Would it be bad if
Vitals ACTUALLY spawn on a certain side of the character model instead of just some fourway minigame?

Wait, wasn't this a thing in 6.2?

wat?
Hmmm, I suppose we could question the validity of Fiora really being a champion that exemplifies players skill at dueling if the players Fiora fights don't have a strategy for defending. Yes, it's not easy to attack all four side of a player, but because the vitals are random it also isn't easy to defend. so you may be right.
It just alternates sides.. I don't think it fully rotates with the champion.. meaning if you go up and CS then turn around.. your vital will still be hit
I understand what you mean. When player turns around, the vital turns with them. Therefore if the vital is on the front, and they are facing you, a direct attack would hit it. But if they were to turn away before you auto, it would miss as the vital stays on the front of the champion.
The issue with this, is all you're doing is making Fiora harder to play. Now not only do you have to get to a specific side to get the vital off, but if the enemy turns away or to the opposite angle before your auto goes off, it misses..... To higher tier players this may not be such a big deal. But it would ruin Fiora for newer players. Much harder for them to play her with no additional reward.

Given that Fiora's highest winrates are in bronze and silver, that's probably a good thing.
it could be compensated with other buffs. Perhaps extra movement speed or a larger dash on Q if they hit a vital, but overall the change would extremely hard to balance with Fiora's core laning mechanic, and I can't really think of other solutions other than increased mana costs on Q.. idk
