Since groups of players get rewards for playing, can solo players get rewards for "top scoring"?

Now _before _ this dynamic que and premades were a thing, this question wasnt really much of something i could ask, but since groups get rewards i just feel that i'd make it a little less biased if you at least gave the little man here some dessert too.

All im asking is, _if _ i carry a game ex. A lot of cs, most kills and or kill participation along with map presence ( roaming ) can i get like 50 additional ip? I know this would be hard to implement because of supports but we have to get a foot in the dirt and start some where.

If they want their dynamic to be fair they should remove bonus rewards for playing in larger groups completely.

Why? bonuses like what? winning more games? thats fair. But what else? IP bonuses? How does rewarding people for playing solo make any sense? it makes the community smaller

are..... are you serious? do you not realize that groups get a % increase in earned IP, shard drop rate, and key drop rates? the more you have in your pre made the larger those bonuses are.

Also i can tell you did not read what i posted because i asked for the bonus rewards to be removed from pre mades so everyone gets the same rewards.

I did not know those extra things existed. I'm not super up to date on the news. Annnyyyyway. Why does it matter? Why shouldn't people get rewarded for playing with a group? Playing in a group gets people to have more fun, hang with some friends, and invite people to play league and grow the playerbase. Why would you want to stop encouraging people to play in a group, whats the logic behind it?

Well by that logic Solo queue players should get special rewards for putting up with pre mades, point being is that making a single queue with uses reverse punishment methods to target solo players is not acceptable at all.

I believe any system should be fair to all of its players which is why i support club ranked mode which ensures all premades are 5 mans and solo players are no longer needed to maintain a system so now we can have ranked solo back.

If Dynamic queue supporters truly enjoy going pre made with friends and groups of close individuals in a competitive environment then they should be all for this new mode yet they seem less then enthusiastic about it which leads me to believe that they do not actually care about team skilled competitive games.

what option does the solo player have?

See this is why ranked 5vs and solo queue were the best. This is why i left LoL for overwatch

In the wise words of many solo players, "what if I don't have extra friends to play with?" So in answer to your question, we have the same options as a solo player, "add more people" as you have suggested, or queue up with however many you have and just play the damn game.

meanwhile if you're a premade who doesnt want to play with solos you can just add more people to your team.

And somehow the "options are the same" that's some impeccable logic you got going there.

Im going to check back into the boards in a week. but for the past 2 weeks (really 6 months) it's been the exact same shit. I really hope riot pulls their heads out of their assess and actually apologizes for their lying and incompetence with season 6. and i mean an actual apology, not some bullshit "we've looked at the numbers and decided to add soloqueue and tweak some numbers" never addressing the elephant in the room.

But hey watching leagues decline as an avid ex-fan is quite fun.

In your first comment, we were discussing the ability to add more people to your own party for "rewards", not the fact that you didn't want to have other premades in your game. Which is a common complaint around here, though personally I queue solo and never really feel like premades have much of an impact on my game.

And I agree -- it's been 6 months of the same complaints. It's getting really boring, but it has started dwindling a tiny bit lately, which has been nice.

It's not Riot's job to tell us how to play the game. They should give us the tools and resources we need to have fun, and leave us be. That is how you make a successful game. If you see a group of children playing peacefully and happily in a sandbox, you don't go up to them and start regulating how they play in their sand. You just let them play.

YOU think playing in a group is more fun... great! You don't need IP bonuses, the reward should be that you are having fun with your friends. I think playing with people I'm friends with sucks. I don't need that kind of stress in my friendships. Why would I invite people to play League that I hadn't ALREADY tried to invite just for... IP bonuses? I have plenty of friends, but they don't play League of Legends. Only me and my partner play, and we DO play together, but we're not around all the time. I don't WANT to invite randos from my games, I don't WANT to use this as a fucking friend finding service, I just want to play the game.

It CAN be played alone, so why am I being punished for doing that? Why should I be punished because I don't like to play with friends? When do solo players NOT get punished? We get less shards, we get less IP, we get shittier matches and Riot has straight up said, "Yes, It is harder to win games playing solo into 3s, 4s and 5s." Riot has completely thrown solo players under the bus, and the funny thing is is that if we DIDN'T exist, then you couldn't have fun ~playing with your friends. You want to play a 4 man? A 3 man? Those kinds of matches are filled out by solo players. Solo players that are getting shafted by Riot and the community.

League is like sex. Yeah, you CAN do it with other people, hell, maybe even that was the way it was intended. But let's be honest, you're probably better at it and you'd have more fun if you just played by yourself.

TLDR; I don't want to play with other people. I want to play by myself. I should not get punished for playing by the rules and following the Summoner's Code, just because you and Riot think that it's not the way I should be playing the game, because honestly, well... fuck what you and Riot think.

But if your a FULL 5 man premade, all it takes is that diamond 4 vayne main that you invited into your bronze game to get an S- and you all get flowered in gifts from this hextech system..

I can speak from experience, but I don't have any screenshots. Solo I get about 50~ip. In a group of 3 up, I get 100, almost double.

I like it. give solo players 10 extra ELO points if they score an S+ or some other similar threshold that prooves they really mattered in that game.

actually IMO just give all solo players +1 LP every game. since grouping is elo boosting, playing solo should elo boost too.

If you want to prove that you can do something on your own then you go right ahead and do it. Just prove that you don't have to rely on others to play against something that has always existed. Tell me a single sport where 'teamwork' is what made them excel.

Individual player ability comes first. You build upon that with teamwork. You build upon that with bonding.

You have a very skewed idea of what team-based games and performance demand.

You're trying to exclude individual ability somehow, while defining teamwork and bond as the same thing.

It doesn't work that way or any group of friends could go sign up for a soccer tourny and end up in the pro leagues.

^ Each player is picked because they excel at the sport, and then put as a team, just like in league, we are put in a group of 5. Of course "teamwork" has a part to do with winning (communication, etc) but the skill of the player is way more important imo.

you got it backwards

its f2p so they don't have to care about you if they don't want, you can be second class which might be the right thing to do. Lets be real

if this was p2p your correct course of action would not be to complain, it would be to shove your foot so far up their ass they'd give you a refund and then some. P2p is a whole different beast from F2P. That's part of why F2P is a thing now. Not because the customers like it but its best for the company sometimes.

That's why I say, riot doesn't need to compete with overwatch, it benefits from overwatch. Why do you think it did something like duoqueue just as overwatch comes out, or overwatch came out just as riot was getting ready for duoqueue. Everybody wins.
