Seriously I don't believe that the matchmaking system actually even tries to give you main role.

Seriously. I queue Mid/Top every game. Got top 3 games in a row, then autofilled to jungle, the last game I got my main role was during my second game of autofill protection, guess what I got on my first game of autofill protection? Yeah that's right, Top. The saddest part is I'm afraid if I put my secondary as something more contested like ADC, I'll end up getting that instead of my main role and feed my ass off because I don't actually even play it.

So yeah, can I please get my main role more than 20% of the time? Leave me in queue for 25 minutes, I'll watch some YouTube or play Minecraft. Stop being so god damned lazy and giving me off role, if possible. That would just be gosh darn swell. Thanks.

I dunno I get my main role 100% of the time.

Also I like auto-fill. gives me fast queue times.

If I queue for Jungle I have to wait 300 years for a support. When I queue for support I have to wait 300 Years for a Jungle.

Pre Auto Fill (and after Pick Order) there was this thing called Teambuilder. If you qued for Jungle you waited 7-10min for a support. if you qued for support you waited 7-10 min for a jungle. Autofill makes it so I have barely 30 second queue times. It's amazing.

so while you may not like autofill, you not getting filled fucks everyone elses queue times. Just learn to play something other than Top/Mid. Like seriously. there are enough Top/Mid mains. Play something else.

no one plays top so you get put into top. you que for the most desired role and the least desired role. of course you will get the least desired role. if you qued mid and adc you would have a better chance of getting mid.

Top and Jungle are massively underplayed.

Top is counterpick/onetrick and everybody usually forgets there is a topside to the map until Baron. Jungle got too hard I guess? But as in any season. Jungle is always to blame. So you need real thick skin because you will get flamed for completely random shit that's somehow your fault.

Then I think I get adc/support more often than midlane. Which is fine bcs I don't like mid.

I queue fill.

Edit: what annoys me: i queue fill to get teammates on champs/roles they want but very often 1 or more on the team also got filled.

Less people play jungle and support so you have a good chance of landing one of those involuntarily. Even with tops being a one-sided matchup almost every game, it's still more popular than jungle and support, and probably tied with ADC. To decrease the time it takes for you to actually get into a game, the game will put you into those unwanted roles. That's just how it is.

They tried to make fun damage-dealing supports, like Pyke and Senna, which may have increased Support first-rolepick rate a little, but they botched the jungle this season for some reason, so no real benefit there. Making jungle a lot more fun and easier would mean giving too much impact to the jungler over games, I guess.

ADC and support have always been weird and less favored because you have to work directly with someone else in the same lane for 10-15 minutes. You are only half responsible for how your lane goes, which can deter a lot of players.
