My client switched to the "Game in progress" screen, but never launched the actual game itself, and now even when I log out and back in, it doesn't let me reconnect. It just says "Game in progress" and sits there.
I had the same issue yesterday but in lobby... Game in progress while team was picking their champs and poof leaver penalty.
I made a post stating having the same issue. Someone has to adress this immediately. I thought it was on EUNE only.

I get the same happen too, it happen on after 9.14 later. Many time already!!!
It happens to me every now and then. The solution which works for me is I open task manager (Windows) and terminate every LOL process. Then I restart the client and the game starts loading.
