So... when will the champion roster be complete?

It's getting to a point where there's almost too much information to keep straight, especially for new players. I've tried to get a couple friends to play but they just give up after they realize that if they want to be competitive they need to learn at least 4 abilities plus passives for 146 different champions.

This isn't even considering the fact that the last 10 champions that have come out take up multiple pages of text just to explain what their abilities do.

Is there an end-point? Will the roster ever reach a point of "completion" where the champion design team can focus on perfecting balance instead of constantly adding in new factors?

The human brain is estimated to be only 2.5 petabytes. Between school, work, memes, and other video games, I'm running out of space to store info on new champions. So yeah, can we chill soon or what?

150 seems like a great stopping point.

it doesnt even need to stop, but it would be nice if they really took a break from new champs and fixed the existing ones. just today i saw it again, a twitch trying to backdoor with his ult, attacking the nexus from max range and not damaging it because the actual hitbox of the nexus is a bit smaller. this is one of the first bugs i ever saw reported when i started playing IN SEASON TWO!!!

Never. They still need to release support aphelios, midlane aphelios, toplane aphelios and jungle aphelios.

My my, what's an aphelios you ask? Well, an aphelios is a champion with an oversized kit and unbalanced numbers, that is assumed to be fair since he has little to none in the mobility department. They are also normally Ranged and have access to broken ranged items and Zhonyas. Remove Zhonyas.

Your friends just need to learn like... 20 champions. The rest are just "exotics", so to speak.

I don't want a full stop to new champions, they keep things fresh, but I do want a moratorium until Riot modernizes ALL of the champions. It's getting to be criminal in my eyes that their other games can show Lux looking gorgeous, yet looking absolutely wretched in League. There are simply too many champions that have been left to rot, and Riot needs to address their failing aesthetics and kit designs in order to make the game feel complete.
