You figured Vayne wouldn’t thrive in a meta where games ended so quickly

She’s just horribly designed In late too, even if she did reach six items at what point is two shotting someone considered acceptable level of gameplay?

Games arent ending quicker the early mid and late phases are shorter. Thus she hits late faster.

Crit scaling items are too cheap and have been for a while.

Vayne herself isn't the problem. It's that her counters have been nerfed and now botlane is a fiesta. I don't even see people playing Draven (which one of the best if not the best) against Vayne.

This is an incorrect way of thinking. Heres what i mean:

What you say: Vayne is strong -> People die easily -> Games are fast.

What it is: People die easily -> Vayne gets fed -> Gets gold -> Has items faster -> Games are fast.

A fast meta isnt defined by being a fast meta, a fast meta is when people die so fast people get fed fast and the game ends. So the issue isnt "VayNe LaTE gAmE CaHmPOon? LEL" Its the fact that the meta is so fast ADCs reach late game by 20 min instead of 40.

Note: Im not saying whether or not Vayne is weak, i actually havent seen her. Just the fact that the notion of "Vayne shouldnt be strong in a fast meta" is incorrect.

Do you know which ADC absolutely bullies Vayne in lane? Lucian. Do you know which champion Riot nerfed to the ground without any real reason (other than he was crowding out other midlane picks in LCS)? Lucian.

Fun fact: Lucian also bullies Twitch in lane.

Additional Fun fact: "Late game" Lucian isn't a problem. He cannot kill you in "3 autos" like Vayne and Twitch and must commit fully (i.e., be within range of several melee champions' engage abilities), unless of course, he is extremely fed.

This is an items issue not a vayne issue.

I don't understand why people think Vayne is a late game champ. As a support main, I've gotten PLENTY of Vaynes fed in the first ten minutes.
