What is the shuriken for above my enemy when playing zed?

This is without ulting them, They will have a shuriken above their head when im not even in combat wit hthem..Is this telling me that my ult and damage output have potential to kill them??

I think that it means if you kill them with your ulti pop you will be granted more AD than you previously have gotten, but I am not completely sure.
