Its meant so Yasuo isn't broken and can ignore first turret shot at low levels. At least when it comes to Riven which is an early all inner, she has to use her shield to tank a hit, Yasuo just moving around being able to take one would be OP more than he kidna is.

I agree with most of the comment, but please don't pretend Riven's shield requires any thought.

No I wasn't saying she requires skill, you can put a monkey on League and it could get a triple-penta with Riven (Since most of the people playerbase isn't far from that) I was just merely using an example and that was the first to mind.

I think a better example would be Pantheon's passive. Still fairly easy to use and it auto-activates, like Yas' shield, but it requires some set-up and isn't available as the match starts.

his ult resets his shield. it's to prevent him from knocking you up out of turret range and then finishing you off with ult for free

turrets are able to shoot through his shield its just like how minions can attack through inner turret shields as players must first destroy the shield on the turret before inflicting actual dmg.

Doesn't set it off, means he can't tank turret damage with it. Seems fine.

But turrets are Heimerdinger's thing. Unless you meant "towers", then towers ignore his shield unless it was triggered by a champion or a monster.
