new client login is AWFUL

And it doesn't even fit for an fantasy game.

Lately, they are trying to be more and more generic.

I actually like it tbh, its simple and white and could use some color but i think it looks clean and i like clean. Just my opinion though.

This is about its appearance not how well it work or whether its useful or not. I am not saying I like the client, I just like the all white look. Thats my opinion. If you disagree with that, fine, but I am not talking about how the client performs in this comment because that it is irrelevant. You wanna talk about how shitty it is? Also unbelievably slow load time. LOL hot garbage.

The new client randomly force downloaded in the background with no warning and when i went to play its bricked me out of my account with errors right at the start of the day. GG cant login at all.

Go into your Riot Games folder and delete the folder named "Riot Client" Fixed all the problems I was having Also this is a temp fix as you'll probably have to go in and delete the folder multiple times

It will also randomly log you out. Like at the end of a Match when its should load the Game states instead you get the "Reconnect" button and the game tried to relaunch the game but the game has ended so it crashes and sends you back to the "Reconnect" when what needs to happen is you need to relog in.

Fucking minimalism. It has no style, and barely even a design.

But do you know what does work, the store. The Client does not work because you didn't buy the prestige edition of the client and now look at all of you. Wanting to play your league but you cant because of the normal edition of the client isn't working. The Prestige 10th Anniversary Edition is working just fine and only cost me 10 million riot points.

Why was there even a need to upgrade the client? It's like they're trying to turn it into something like Blizzard and Origin has, where its a type of marketplace to play multiple games made by the company. Except Riot only has one game to play. So, uh... not understanding the need for it and it also happens to be completely ruining things.

It actually quite genius if you think about it. The log in screen is so blinding that you would choose to bypass it altogether (there is an option stayed logged in to avoid having to log in every time). Since theme songs for events or skins are presented in the log in screen, bypassing it means they won't need to make one every time for any occasion since you won't be seeing and hearing it anyway, thus saving a fortune.

My grief is it takes more time now to actually open the client. Like, why would you have a launcher that opens another launcher, which aren't even the same in design as well? If you change the design that's one thing, but they added more steps to get into the actual client adding more time and having to download shit each time you open it. If it ain't broke, DON'T fix it. Completely unnecessary and waste of their time and ours.

League died in 2015 when they sold their company to Tencent - the same company Blizzard sided with when they banned that pro player, took away his winnings, and fired the people that interviewed him. Tencent ruins games. Riot used to care about their community. Remember all the videos they'd put out supporting it? Remember Nikkasaur? Heck, even Phreak would jump in sometimes. Everything that made League great was taken away after Tencent bought them out. Old runes and masteries, in addition to the flexibility of roles and how to build champions (because so many had both ad/ap scaling) is what brought me to League. They were the defining features that the other mobas didn't have; it was innovative. Prior to 2015, League was the biggest game in the world... that says a lot. The community was so big that PAX had to restrict them from having a booth, because they took up so much space, and the crowd of fans took up too so space that they were overflowing the walking lanes. The free merch and skins were great. The little rubber bracelets and lanyards that they gave out, which said what role you played, actually helped people make friends outside of events. It's sad to see what they've become. They've pushed so many people away whom now consider the game "dead". The only thing that brings players back to League is TFT, and the majority of players I talk to refuse to play Summoners' Rift! Is the game that bad?! You made a mistake when you sold your game and soul to Tencent, Riot. You let your community down :(
