Why does Corki's magic damage benefit from lifesteal but conqueror's true damage doesn't?

Corki's passive is made in a way so that lifesteal is still effective on him. Well conqueror doesn't do that. When you proc conqueror you lose 20% healing from basic attacks from lifesteal which is really stupid in my opinion.

I dunno, Corki is weird. I don't think they should change an entire keystone because one champ has a special interaction

it just feels bad you know? you see your healing 130 130 260 (from crit) then you proc the rune and you have 104 104 208

Corki's attack are specifically modified to do 20% P and 80% M damage. They are still basic attacks, so that's fine. If the true damage from Conqueror does indeed not get lifesteal back, then yeah, that's an issue that should be fixed.

Could be worse. You could effectively reduce your durability by 20% by taking Conqueror on Mordekaiser.

Simply because Iron Man specifies MAGIC damage dealt by abilities.

Corki is mechanically intensive and has a high skill ceiling.

Corki's niche is being a champion based on magic damage by building attack damage type ADC... Even though he was gutted and forced into the mid lane.

This is the most irrelevant thing you could possibly say on this thread. You listed facts about the champion that you probably looked up off LoLWiki. What's the point in commenting?

So you'd want to have the best of both worlds eh?...

Tank shredding true damage that life steal applies to fully... (You know, just by saying that i've realized how disgustingly broken asf that sounds)

i just don't like losing stuff by taking something.

Why wouldn't it? It's still a basic attack, it just deals mostly magic damage

This sounds like a bug tbh.

LS most of the time is based on Basic attacks and effects basic around it.

SV is based on abilities that are considered spells but not basic attacks.

item 3812 allows someone that is an AD caster to properly benefit from sustain without needing to get item 3146

what does this have to do with anything?

Critmaster Garen1 votes

wait, why does is benefit from lifesteal? he could just build a item 3146
