Gangplank's pauldron is the Dead Man's Plate, worn by him after his supposed "death" at the hands of Miss Fortune in Act 3 of Burning Tides.

yea i have knewn that and mixed it up myself. I jsut have always find it funny how seekers as an item that builds into ap items for amges now belongs to sejuani while iceborn gauntlet, a tankitem, belongs to lissandras tribe.

sorry didn't know that. I just assumpted Ornn as demigod with breathing fire, who definetly forged item 3373 , made maybe also the original armor that magicaly surrounds itself with fire. I don't know every items origen and jsut theorycrafted on some of the items. For exampel i also don't know where item 3143 comes from. Still that i get downvoted for maybe not that good theorycrafting on a funtopic - wow.

The downvotes are probably because you've been speculating without must thinking or knowledge of the lore, and made connections based on pretty much nothing.

For example, item 3068 is obviously Shuriman because of the Shurima crest on it, crest present on the Sun Disc.

item 3170 is not related to Diana more than the fact that both are about the moon. item 3190 is however indeed related to Leona, because Leona is part of the Solari.

As already said, item 3191 is Sejuani's.

Trundle doesn't use a mallet, but a club, Morde doesn't use a battle flail, but a morgenstern. Also, it's Lord Van Damme's.

I know that morde and trundle items are difftrent. But they are jsut slightly diffrent and resemble nearly their weapons. Not only do they look so similar it could be easiyly weapons from some of trundles fellow trolls or Lord Van Damme as someone in Mordekaisers Army (correct me if you have historical evidence when Lord van Damme lived in the Lol Universe, all i know is that it resembles the name of the french actor van damme). But they also fit to their characters and playstyle. Like trundle constantly autoattacking his enemies with a slightly diffrent frozen weapon. Morde who not only has the full ap build but alsocan build tank or ad items and the Pillager seems like a strong weapon on him too.

Correct me again if i am wrong but to item 3170 is not much known is it? even if it is not stated that this item is conected to diana it is also not stated that it isn't conected to diana. it easiyl could be a weapon of the lunari, the folk that the solari got rid of. Ofcourse the weapon is not shaped like dianas curve moonblade but still: Why should the name be moonplate and not even ahve a slightly conection to the folk who worshipped the moon?

Some seem far fetched but some of them are actually accurate.

item 3191 used to belong to Lissandra but now we see it on Sejuani Leona item 3190 Irelia item 3078 After the rework it seems like it fits more

Iceborn Gauntlet refers to the Freljordians who were given power by the Frozen Watchers. These people were called Iceborn, with their leader Lissandra.

yea this is a god coment from you: i had it hidden in my brain that sejuani and lissandra are switched. I just think or thought it is funny considering iceborn gauntlet is the tankitem tied to the icewitch while seekers armguard builds into an ap item, with good synergy to lissandras kit, owned now by sejuani. So maybe i mixed something up and put it how i would explain the items. As to many other exampels.

That does make some sense... except from how the darkin are described, they're closer to the four horsemen of the apocalypse, where they represent something about war and conflict. Then again, I myself don't know much about Kayle and Morgana other than they're angels and Morgana is a "fallen angel". I'm sure when they come out with a new darkin champ and bring in some lore stories we'll probably learn more about that group.

The Darkin don't actually represent aspects like the four horsemen. That's been an extremely over-blown assumption made by fans. Darkin in League were trapped and tortured by human mages, they have become unhinged by the process and the millennia imprisonment. They just like killing Runeterrans lot because of what they did to them.

Let me put it into my perspective: they are just items with art that homages to other aesthetics found in the game, but not actually relevant to the champion. Youmuus isn't actually connected to any Ionia champion, Death's Dance isn't a Darkin, Protobelt wasn't made by one of the scientist champs. It's just familiarity that can be noticed through visuals alone. That's why we see Hextech everywhere in the client.

Granted that doesn't stop people from assuming there's deeper meaning to them. Like when people thought the background art for Runes was relevant to lore, of which it's not, the art is just appropriate to the common aesthetics of the game.
