New champ select is not an improvement

The new champ select is tedious and drawn out, I'm interested in playing the game, not all this fluff. Please change it back or to something good Riot.

Have to agree , while the new champ select was a good idea in theory to help 4th an 5th picks not get trapped into roles they dont like or cant play the early results are atrocious.

For one there appears to be a memory leak in 6.1 ( what else is new , this seems to be every other patch ) frame rates are now all over the place spiking from 40 fps to 5.

The que times are just flat out silly. previously you started league , clicked play and choose your mode. 30-45 secs later you were in champ select. 3-4 mins later you were in game. Now you are "looking for match "....... for longer then it perviously took to go through champ select and be in game playing.

This clearly needed far far more testing before it went live.

I now have -13 LP because the champ select DOES NOT POP UP anymore and i missed the LOCK IN. I also got banned from playing for 30 minutes the second time. If i'm listening to music and browsing dank memes ,there is a high chance i'll fail to lock in.

Mandatory lock in is ok i guess but make it pop up ,Riot.

I agree on that one. The Lock In was the worst idea. I used to be able to jump into games quickly and start playing. Now, it takes forever to find a team. Once you do get to the banning phase, someone dodges and it starts all over. I feel like I can rarely get in two games in under an hour and a half anymore, just one. Why make it so much harder to play league when 1 game is already a big commitment?
