When you have to win 75% to climb in silver, what's the point in trying>?> Please shine a light

After tilting from S1 to S5 and my winrate dropping from 60% to 50% I'm in a pretty shitty spot right now. I'm trying to be positive and re-approach this assertively but it's getting harder and harder, especially when my LP is now 20 for a loss and 18 for a win. Matchmaking odds are grossly stacked against me with new players, afks, and trolls, but I'm still trying to get better and carry myself.

I feel like I'm about to snap though, I got into promos for s4 and my client crashed while loading and decided to fix corrupted files from I'm guesing the latest update costing me my series, then I get new players playing new champs for team mates consecutively after.

I'm really trying not to fall off the deep end here but I'm really losing my patience, is there anyone who's been through this crap and made out ahead? It seems pretty much impossible right now no matter how well I do in game and how much I try to help my team and stay positive.

If you want an accurate number I went from being placed in Silver 5 (0 LP of course) to Gold 5 in 62 games with a 68% win rate (42W - 20L) this season.

That being said it when was I was freshly placed so my MMR was more malleable. I was gaining at the very minimum 25 LP per win and losing at very maximum 14 LP a loss. Average I would say was +27 per win, -12 per loss

How I got out of silver/ gold.

Current rank Plat IV.

The thing about silver and gold, is that no 1 understands macro play. This makes it very difficult to play roaming champions and support. Cause even if you want to set up a play none in your team will know why or what you're doing. This is why my buddy who was diamond 1 at the time (before master) said i should quit the support role and no roaming plays. This leaves know the fact that Jungle and Hard on carry is the easiest way to get out of that rank. If you are as good as you are. The only thing u need to work on is closing games. Here are some tip.

As Jung. Counter jungle as much as possible. I recommend watching Svenskerens streams since he's a god at this. An easy example is. Enemy jungler ganks bot, You invade top jungle. If he fails the gank u win in Gold.

As a carry. Get a lead mid. check how bot and top wave are doing. If any 1 of them are starting to push. ping like hell so your jungler will react that u will tower dive bot/top. And SNOWBALL. Many who get a lead never snowball. If you get a lead mid force him into turret and roam other lanes. (this is not as roaming champions, mentioned in top). And close up games, how to that takes a lot of time to explain. watch LCK, where they get a lead and close up fast <27min.

I had a pretty easier time climbing through Silver by playing Varus (ADC) and Ziggs (Mid).

I found players would constantly group around random objectives all the time and stand off against one another for minutes at a time, so the ability to poke, (dis)engage fights and waveclear indefinitely was rather valuable.

Unless we gave up Baron or I died stupidly, I basically removed the enemy team's ability to push anything.

While I've been playing mostly jungle this season, Lux is pretty much my go-to mid-laner whenever I get it due to her utility, safety and burst damage.

If your LP swings are 20 for a loss and 18 for a win than you do not need to win 75% of games to move up. You need to win more than 53% of games (actually slightly less).

Odds are not stacked against you, in fact they are in your favour assuming you never troll or mess around with people in a game yourself because there is only 4 others on your team and 5 on theirs. Just take a breather if you are feeling "overwhelmed" by ranked.

if you were good, im telling you. you wont need a team. if you understand map awareness then you wont need a team, of course around Gold 1 you may need to have help. but bronze and silver is not hard. trust me, im telling you this because you need to hear it, your not good. your the equivalent of your elo.
