Why Kogmaw Jungle Doesn't work.

For most of you, there will be dis agreement. Which, Im ok with. I know Not everyone will see eye to eye and this is my Opinion. That is educated, because I've been playing the game for over 4 years. My merit is not based off of my Tier or rank. I feel that it carries zero weight over any validity in any argument. I do not need to be Platinum or higher in order to effectively demonstrate my knowledge of the game. Nor do I have to be a professional player in order to speak the truth. Because, To be honest there are several professions in league of legends. That clearly know nothing about the game and happen to be reason's certain teams struggle in the championship series.

But Kogmaw, Perhaps can be deadly, if your doing ranked 5 team's. You have built a comp around him and your other lanes are working together. Solo que, as must of you know does not have this. If this were the case, Then most games would be closed out in 20 to 25 minutes. Players are not together for the majority of a match and there ideas or priorities are completely different.

Kogmaw kit is not designed to be used as a jungler, The role of a jungler is no way shape or form in Kogmaw's kit. He has no Gap Closed, CC and his slow, is a skill shot that can be dodged with ease. Jungler's are not suppose to afk farm, and a decent Warwick will even help lanes prior to having his ultimate.

With that in mind, why are you going to play a champion thats power scale, requires huge amounts of gold. That take upwards of thirty minutes to reach. Yes he has a remakable late game, but how do you expect to get there playing him as a jungler. Your praying that your team mates can dominant there lane opponents. Your praying that your team is allways together and your praying there composition has no form of CC or large gap close.

If the opponent has malphite your screwed. Gnar, ya keep trying to do damage. Did we mention that kogmaw is one of the easiest to counter jungle? His wave clear is not remarkably good, its terrible. Next time you think it works, observe how many times hes has to back and how little he actually spends focusing on lanes.

These are basic concepts i think most of us understand. The only success Kogmaw's have, are if your opponent dives your team and he happens to be there at the right time and the turret has done upwards of 50% of the damage necessary to secure the kill. Or perhaps you are hitting scuttle crab and the opponent is running from the midlaner, whos already done more then half of his health. Even with those small advantages, his damage potential is only brought closer by minutes.

Does Kogmaw Jungler work, Not even. The few case's it works has nothing to do with Kogmaw itself. It happens to be a roaming support, or assassin midlaner whos picked up a couple kills and use's that advantage to snowball other lanes.

So its highly recommended you don't kogmaw jungle. I actually had a conversation with one the other day. It was extensive and he ultimately came up with this answer. I play it because its fun, not because it wins. When you display all the evidence on Kogmaw, all you can come up with is that. These are facts and not assumptions, Kogmaw is not a carry jungle, but a jungler who needs to be carried. Can you carry the kog, yes you can. It's extremely frustrating to do so.
