Riot, your season reward punishments are a bit harsh and ridiculous

I think it's unfair that I am not eligible for my rewards because I have received a two week ban for "toxicity". Really and truly, I was joking and not being toxic forreal, I rarely play solo and I do things to get funny reactions with people in my Skype chat. I understand the person I'm messing with doesn't know that or they may or may not take it as a joke, I get that! However, I have not received a toxic ban since season 2 and I've NEVER been chat restricted! It's completely unfair! Why are people getting a additional punishment on top of the punishment they already did their time for! I learned a lesson, and a two week ban was/is critical so I'm not fooling around with people anymore. Last year, people who was banned/restricted at the END of the season didn't receive them witch is more understandable. I can also understand if the player has had MULTIPLE punishments throughout the year. But one ban in a years time span and you don't get rewards?! Can we stop pretending people don't make mistakes? A year time span is a long time! This is way to harsh to players! Some people tilt and can be really toxic as well and a two week ban probably gets their attention to stop and they do.. But at the end of the year after they already reformed, they cant receive their rewards? This is seriously a joke!

EDIT: Also, you're just making it where players AREN'T going to reform. Why reform when you aren't going to get ANYTHING for all the hard work you put into your rank because you was banned once? In my opinion, that's going to make people just not give a crap at this point. I personally wont.

Your post is very contradicting. You say you got a 2 week ban, but then say you werent ban since season 2. Also this isnt an additional punishment. its a rule/requirement for getting the reward. Its not that difficult to not be toxic. even if its a joke like you said people might not see it that way so why do that to random people? if its with friends i guess its ok because i doubt they'll report you. But with random people you dont know why even bother?

All in all i just dont see what they big deal is. You dont need to be toxic, and chose to continue to act this way hence the bans. why should you be rewarded for acting this way?

I highly doubt the people who created that system are angels themselves so what gives them the right to judge me or others? Just cause I got a few bans I'm not getting rewards? what kinda shit is that?

their game their rules, and trolls cont to ramapage w.o any for of punishment and they still get season rewards

If you got banned in the early season and did not receive any punishment since, I think you are still eligible. I know chat restricted players are, not sure if people who are banned are, but with riot's reform policy it might be possible for someone who received a ban in March, but has not since, to still be eligible for rewards.

EDIT Of coarse toxic players won't reform this season if they know they aren't getting rewards, but next season they may want to reconsider toxic behavior because they now know that they won't get rewards next season if they keep it up.

I agree with you. This does make it so trolls wont care and will do whatever they want. The rule is dumb for a first time offence and should be more on a 3 strike rule.
