Ranked queue's disabled with no explanation?

So, I have 3 ranked level 30's and I tried each one to make sure it wasn't a rank ban I received or something and all 3 accounts are the same but I see nothing saying why the queue's are disabled?

I was wondering the same thing, but it seems this is the only post I can find relating to it. Maybe they are starting the season?

I don't understand the complete lack of communication that it was going down though, like anywhere.

If you Search for DDNS on Google right now, around 17 ISP's had major attacks in the last 48 hours. I'd imagine back bone is taking a hit, but it's not specifically a Riot issue as its the internet architecture that's under attack. That's my first theory.

Second Theory: Ranked is disabled for the next week while next season gets ready to launch.
