Lee Sin has been a consistently strong professional pick, not just a roflstomper. The jungle meta has gone from Lee Sin, Elise, Evelynn, to Lee Sin, Kha'zix, Rengar. While the dominant junglers have been suppressed by Riot's nerf hammer, Lee Sin has remained untouched, and remains a top-tier competitive pick even now. Lee Sin snowballs hard in bronze MMR, agreed, but he's also insanely strong competitively. His combination of mobility, CC, and high base damage make him oppressive at all tiers of play.
