Tanky Jax is OP... no?

First I am not pro... I do make some mistakes and I didn't take the game sooo serious. Look at 1st death... Huge mistake due to no ult and failed to attempt to bait her into pink ward. You can see how scary vayne is... ;\

Have you tried Tanky Jax and able to did massive damage at same time? Maybe you can try him as tank.

BTW i have to replace item 3065 with item 3146 due to OP Vayne. If there is no vayne then I can use item 3065 to get max AD and HP.

Stats at level 18 without Spirit visage. 4538 hp 263 AD ( included 50 + 153 from Titanic Hydra... but cone is 494 DMG excluded SV) 78 AR > unclear due to buffs but more than 223 AR 78 MR > unclear due to buffs but more than 165 MR (extra ap due to gunblade) 30% CDR due no SV.

Does this number sound scary to you?

item 3078 item 3748 item 3053 is a legit Jax build. His ultimate provides him with resistances, making health very effective on him.

The general purpose of the build is to be a better teamfighter. If Jax wants to splitpush, his regular Gunblade build is still the way to go.

I think sterak's gage is not great item on Jax

  • wasteful stats as efficient cost is very low ... even for with highest ad stats as 145+. Jax's ad at 18 is just 120.
  • Not great defensive nor offensive item.... good mini-ult in teamfight for short time.
  • it's hit and miss item.

I personally like gunblade over botkr as sustain as jax didn't have any sustain at all. His Q and W will able to heal himself enough.

I don't think titantic hydra is good item without any health items... especially Jax's health at level 18 is 2037. The worst part about titantic hydra is not for ad caster... probably prefect item for someone with high attack speed with high AD and hp at same time such as Olaf, Skaner, Trundle, etc.

Jax builds Trinity Force. % Base AD increases your Trinity Force proc.

True, Sheen of TF grants 200%.

120 AD + 25% AD as 30 AD = 150 AD without passive 120 AD + 2x( 25% AD as 30 AD) = 180 AD with passive for 8 sec WITH 731 hp shield = 3 sec.

So basic attack is 150 * 2 = 300 without W per 1.5 sec .

Worst part about this item is terrible item path but Jax's ult is already good for teamfight.

I think Ruined King+ Triforce (aka trashshinshin's build) is better for splitpushing, but that's just me, i've even built ravenous hydra on jax lol

Hashinshin uses a lot of builds. Trust me I watch him often :P He just kinda tries something new every now and then.

Jax R gives well over 100 armor late game with that build. Stacking armor wouldn't be as efficient.

  • 2x HP against maximum health of squishy champion like vayne's 2k hp at 18 level vs Jax's 4.5k HP
  • pen item are op meta
  • ad item are op meta

The best part is jax's ult grant him over 150 AR and MR... make jax more durable for 8 seconds PER 80 seconds without any cdr item. Pretty good for emergency button.

Nope. The build might look threatning, but the numbers aren't scary at all. He's obviously OP, because he's Jax. Both AD and AP suit him well so much because of his rapid W and attack speed, also because he's a semi Fighter/Assassin. So building a bit tank in that build will help him survive and tank a bit of the damage during fights.

item 3111 , item 3078 , item 3146 , item 3065 are general and common items that Jax builds.

And again, it purely depends on what team composition Jax is against. Except for TF, Thresh, and Swain, it's really all just a bit too easy for a semi-tank destroyer.

Suprised Vayne didnt build a item 3036.

Vayne doesn't need LW due to her kit. Of course nobody buys AR items except GA.

If you drop anything, drop the warmogs. That item sucks and is situational at best.

Warmong is good item for some reason

  • raw stats included 10% cdr.
  • anti poke... take damage then fall back to charge the health.
  • replace sustain items such as gunbalde
  • prefect combo item for titantic hydra's stats.

titantic hydra (450hp) + warmog (800hp) + Jax's 2037 hp = 3,287 HP at level 18 therefore 35 as permanent AD and 37.87 as on hit + 122.175 as cone damage. The every one of basic attack would be 192.87 damage.

Please correct me if I calculated wrong.

BTW... I don't said warmong is better than SV... Both item is very great.

You should only be building that item when grouping to team fight against poke/siege comps so you don't get poked down by jayce/nid/ezreal/cait/etc It gives flat health and a little CDR, that's it. No resistances and generally resistances > flat Health.

if you drop warmogs instead of spirit viasage you heal more when fighting you dont have to fall back unless your team leaves you alone in the middle of the enemy team which happens alot to melee characters. essentially you just heal more inbattle with out needing to step out for about 20-30 seconds to get any use out of an item

I did... Not great on Jax IMHO... probably great for Trundle that have ad steroid + sustain. (It would be cool if included TF or IGB)

DPS Tank is not effective against ADC or assassin due to the burst damage and shredder.
