ADC used items from assassin will do more damage than normal ADC... that's why they can kite, poke, zone and burst at same time...
Make this

for assassin/melee role only. Or delete those item as unbalanced burst item.

Real ADC's role is DPS... with DPS items... not assassin with burst items.... Keep it balance and safe.

Was that the juggernaut season? I forget. Besides the juggernaut meta adcs have been pretty good and never really under-powered.

yet, in their worst state, they still carried as hard as any other type of carry.
after the juggernaut update, adc usually tied with them and assassins and skirmishers in damage dealt to champions over the course of a game. unless they were significantly ahead or behind.
the class that was actually lacking at the time were mages, not marksmen. there were only two or three mages playable at the time with the dominance of assassins in mid lane.
it tells you a lot about marksmen, when "the worst state" theyve been in was the only time they were actually balanced.

they already said, they will be making duskblade melee only when they adress it with the assassin update. theyre also going to make changes to ghostblade and remove the attack speed buff which is so useful for adc, and give it some other changes.
as far as cleaver goes, they should either nerf it for ranged champions to only be able to apply 3 stacks, or they should change it to be more beneficial to bruisers like it used to be. buff the health back to 400 and make it slightly more expensive.
xReadyPlayerOnex2 votesI find adc's in the last two seasons extremely lacking. This season even more so. Take out those items and there's no adc's anymore. I'm happy with being a glass cannon but there's no items that do that. Everyone just builds armor and my cannon feels like a garden hose.

With some exceptions, 
all lean more towards burst damage than DPS
That said, make them melee only by all means, so they can be balanced around their intended users (seriously, most assassin's don't even buy Duskblade because its a bad purchase for them)
