Help Me Build: Nunu Vs Garen Top

I've been hitting a rut in league, mentally and in-game. I've decided to find a champ/playstyle that I can play a lot of and stay entertained. I've found that Nunu top is quite enjoyable for me. I have a variety of builds. I'll spare you the details and cut to the chase. I just played against a Garen and got stomped. His first kill was a miscalculation by me losing the fight by just <100 hp. From there it seemed to be over. He continuously swamped me in lane. I went chain vest into revolver (I was maxing Q for sustain, revolver + Q heals for almost half HP). It seemed to work on paper but it wasn't until later I discovered why that didn't solve it. I was unable to get close enough to minions to Q often enough. So come to the boards. Many heads are greater than 1. I like to stick to a very annoying splitpush style (sunfire, titanic hydra, ZZrot are common items). How would you approach this matchup? Clearly there is no 1v1ing a Garen as Nunu, the numbers are simply not there. I need a build so strong that the Garen can get frustrated because he can't kill me. That's the goal, survive lane and splitpush later. So let them rip. I'll drop some ideas, you may agree or disagree, but if you do respond to this post at all, please explain your thought process and reasoning. There are some creative people out there and I'd like to hear them.

item 3110 ? (more cdr means more Q's, lots of armor for his all ad spells [they are all ad right?] and some mana) item 3083 (to compliment Frozen Heart in sustain) item 3068 item 3512 item 3742 (some mobility along with armor. May be replaced with item 3065 if enough AP on enemy team)

This build is incorrect. There is only one correct Nunu build, which is as follows item 3089 item 3041 item 3165 item 3152 item 3135 item 1311

The thing is, garen thrives off of MOST melee and low/inconsistent poke matchups. Most garen's won't have any problem turning the lane into a farmfest, especially if you're both building tanky.

And his ult does magic damage

Liandry's Torment, Rubbernoodle Deathcap, Voidstaff, Morellonomnom Book, Sorc shoes or CDR boots, and Talisman of Ascension, so that you can go really fast, or Zzrot Portal/Banshee's Veil.
