Hi! @Riot Ranger XIV, can't post on your topic on the PBE boards (because of my region), so I'm creating my feedback here, hope there's no problem.

First I want to say that I loved the rework. Since @Meddler had talked about rework Irelia (back in 2014) I've been waiting for this moment. So, of course, now that the new Irelia is between us, I feel like there's some little opportunities that can improve the quality and satisfaction of her rework. I'm here to give some clearly feedback to you guys, hope it can be useful.

1. Visual - Her Mantle of Decorum

I think the new Irelia is great. But my major feedback about her visual is about her blades, The shaped of blades on her back on the new idle pose. They form a shape like a triangle/shuriken, and it is cool, but the other form that sometimes shows up (the one teased in the roadmap)) seems much more cohesive with her theme. It is cooler, more elegant, decorative and remind the Mantle of Decorum, which was "removed" from her. Why decide to turn this shape of blades into something secondary instead of her primary form? It feels much more "right" for Irelia to use the blades on this shape. Here's a comparison between the two. It would be really nice if we at least could toggle which form we want. The decorative form is much more thematically right.

2. VFX on her new E

I've liked all the particles and new VFX for Irelia. But regarding her new E, I think the VFX is so basic and nothing "badass". I don't think it is transmiting the feeling of being throwing and controlling the blade in a master level. My idea is to change to something more satisfacted for see and use: make the blades spinning like shurikens where they're standing. When she throws the first blade, the blade will start spinning in the place, and then when she throws the another one they will fly towards each other.

That would make the ability much more cooler visualy and will give us much more satisfaction to use, because we would feel like we're throwlling and controlling the blades. The current VFX make the blades just stand still and this its kind of boring. Also I've seeing a lot of people complaining about the clarity of the ability, so this could be an opportunity to improve the ability clarity. This new VFX could not take so much work, since it just need to take one of her blades textures and make it spinning like a shuriken in the place! Its a small change that could make the skill much more satisfacted and cool do use.

3. Skins

- Frostblade Irelia have to much purple nn her splash. Also, why make her hair purple if we already have 2 another skins with pink hair? I think the blue iced hair was a very iconic thing about this skin and it would be better to match this.

- Order of the Lotus have a weird face on the splash. Also, the blades in game are not that cool. I would prefer her to have the golden blades like the live version, and when the passive triggers the blades become pink (referencing to lotus petals). Her blades look like plastic in game.

- Nightblade feels like her skin is too yellow, and maybe her colors are too dark. Light them up a bit could make the skin more aligned with the splash.

- Aviator and Infiltrator: The hair of this skins in game sometimes if gets weird. After the octopus hair, we don't want to have another bugged hair. It needs to get some work.

4. Gameplay

I feel like her kit is ok, but have too much magic damage to a Fighter. I would suggest to turn the ult damage on physical. Also, she's so mana hungry right now, why not make her E refund some mana if it hits a champion?

5. Conclusion I'm in love with the new Irelia, but is indeed that she could be even better! Wanna thank you guys for all the hard work on her, I'm pretty sure she'll be one of the most fun and satisfactory champions to play.

Hope my feedback can help you guys!

The main issue I have is that the new Frostblade Irelia's execution of it's thematic is completely different from the original. The older skin was more Sci-Fi/Hextech in nature and fits more with something like Cryocore Brand, or Frozen Shen if you stretch it a bit. The new one looks more like what you'd expect from something called Snow Day Irelia or pairing up with Winter Wonderland Lulu or Snowstorm Sivir.

I'll add my 2c here instead of creating a new thread.

I like her new abilities and general aesthetic a lot. Animation - 999/10. Riot you really outdid yourselves this time, can't find enough praise to express how good it looks and feels.

I'll comment only on the Frostblade skin since it's my favorite and the one I care for the most.

I love her short hair compared to the other skins. It makes her look different and in general I think it sets the tone the skin is representing - of an ice wielding warrior. What it tells me art wise is "natural disorder". However the rest of her general appearance doesn't support this.

The fur collar is my main issue. I think it makes her look a lot like Winter Wonder Karma, and for someone who cuts people with ice "the cold should not bother her" all that much that she needs it for it's warming purposes :D. I think it should be scrapped altogether or changed to be more of a icy neck guard with small adornments or spikes.

Next are her blades. Compared to her other skins where the blades are all curvy, which makes them flow naturally and compliment with her movements, these are symmetric and even though they are supposed to be icicles, they don't look or feel like such at all.
If u take a look at a real icicle you'll see they are far from perfect, with surface all bumpy and jagged. On top of that their current textures resemble more of a plastic toy rather than real ice. I think they should be made more imperfect and realistic in general, giving the feeling of "if I get cut by these i'll be in a world of pain". You know, like hurting yourself on real ice.

Overall - amazing job, thank you for all the effort you've seem to put in this rework.
