In my current experience of silver 1, it is impossible to get through. Its always two steps forward and 2 steps back. I had 4 losses in a row when i got promoted to it. And now i just got demoted. What gives? Why is silver 1 significantly harder to get through?
48983507DEL11 votesBecause it's filled with everyone who just dropped out of gold 5, and they're all super pissed and desperate to get back there, so they're naturally going to play worse.

Nosnide1 votesHigh elo in any rank is always the tip of the spear for that rank. high bronze, high silver, high gold etc. will have the majority of the best players in that rank. Just think like this though, if you deserve to survive in silver 1, you will, for the majority of your games and you will climb. If not you wont. I just got out of silver and into gold. And honestly I feel your pain, but not with S1, but with series to get to gold. Every time I got to it I had 1 or 2 people on my team feed so hard, or afk or something, I lost promos like twice. Same happened on the series to S1 from S2 many times. Promos are scary to me, because its smooth sailing for me till I get there. Lastly, by deserve I mean, have the skill to be in S1. Maybe you aren't there yet, and that's okay.

It feels harder to you because you've reached your CURRENT skill level. That's not a bad thing. What you have to do is simple (not easy): Continue working on your fundamentals
Work on your map awareness Work on your knowledge of matchups Work on your CSing and laning
Little things add up.
For the SHORT TERM, it looks like you're a LeBlanc main (I hate you ;) ). Keep spamming her, learning her match-ups and getting better and better with her mechanically so you don't have to think about HER, and you can then focus on the macro game. Your roaming will get better, your map awareness will get better, your planning will get better, etc. (less thinking about mechanics).
I see your secondary role is Support? Stick to Janna for now, she seems to be doing you right. Don't bother with the other choices you seem to pick here and there until you're in Gold (in rank). Feel free to practice the other champs in normals, but stick to your BEST in ranked, at least for now.

LBmyBB1 votesThanks. I have actually considered not choosing lb in ranked til I get to gold because she has been falling off quicker and harder lately. Hopefully in preseason her rework will fix this.
