Can it be placed and sold right after placing. With no repercussions? Ex; one is in an hour long game has 4000 gold and full build - sells boots, buys and places ZZ, goes back sells Zz and buys boots back.

Yes, but the Voidspawn lose health after 4 seconds. They will die before they get anywhere from there.
In order to take down enemy tower, you need to place the Void Gate close to it.

Yes. It has 800 HP, but it can be destroyed only with basic attacks. So fast, but not too fast.

For the reasons mentioned above: yes, but it doesn't give you anything if the Void Gate is placed in your base.
