Saying "gg" is sportsmanlike...

I personally say 'Good Game' because gg just seems like you don't really care, your just typing it cus its the end of the game and that's what everyone does. Good game is kinda nicer and actually shows that you think it was fun to play and a close game.

then what do you suggest people say? if the winning team gave it their all and fought you fair and square, no DCs, no trolls, etc, how is it their fault you can't take the loss? every game will have 1 winner and 1 loser. saying "gg" is a respectable and commendable thing to do. people saying "ez" or belittling the losers is of course uncalled for and rude.

if you get stomped then it's not rude of the winning team to praise you for your attempt.

How about you stop being salty and accept any GG you can get. Not too many people even give the standard GG anymore, it's usually laced with something like GG EZ or GG EZreal.

I completely agree. When my team plays like a group of blind mice and feed super hard leading to a merciless stomp ... what are you GGing for team? How is this a good game or a fun experience when no one can do anything to the enemy team because 2 lanes just feed them too hard? It's a cluster f, not a good game.

GG to me is when both sides could have won out in the end. When there's a chance to win or loss. I have seen some breath taking come backs from my teams as well as some head pounding throws by my team ... those are good games where you win from out plays.

After game etiquette:

Normal game - GG Complete stomp - GG WP

It is NEVER acceptable to EVER say GG EZ. That is unless you were playing against a particularly good Ezreal.

i like to say " GG all Wp" after a game.

I habitually go with "well played" now, because "gg" can indeed be annoying to people when they've just lost a 5v3.

If there's an AFK I just say sorry about AFK,

But if not that, then no matter how the game turns out, I just say GG, its not being an ass, its just common etiquette.

GG is customary among all competitions regardless of how the actual game went.

I will grant you that it being customary doesn't make it right. However, it does mean that everyone is able to grasp a concept that you are not, and that you should do some introspection.
