Why doesn't anyone else play Evelynn mid?

After her rework, mid was her most popular role.

After season 7 changes, she no longer is knocked out of stealth from damage. Control wards are still a moneysink and aren't guaranteed to be placed in front of lanes, and she has multiple ways to gank.

In lane, she can use her Q to farm from range and use sheen to never miss a last hit. She also has poke and kill potential vs many skillshot champs.

I mean she's not going to do well vs like an Annie, but vs most mid laners (syndra ziggs brand ahri) she is pretty decent, and can get sidelanes ahead as early as level 3.

1 game, in mid silver mmr?

I could play attack speed Lulu top and have great results.

Yet you don't see me complaining why there aren't more of those?

Eve mid isn't popular, because there are better choices. And her kit is well designed for the Jungle instead.

Play Eve mid in D3+ then maybe i'll start buying into these dumb ass threads where your idea / theory was play tested in low Silver.

I'm looking at your profile now. All your Evelynn games are in midlane, and yet you have a 47% win rate and that's only in low Silver. Imagine what the hell would happen if you even brought it up to Plat. Let alone Diamond.

I can see why you would think Eve mid can be good. But at the same time, any decent mid laner would understand the situation and not allow you to just freely power up in the lane.

Also what kind of poke damage does she have that you claim? She literally has to get borderline melee range to use her damage ability. Otherwise you activate W and make it obvious as hell that you're about to start shit.

Her R also has no scaling level / AP wise. It's based off of your targets HP and it's also 1/5th effective in lane if you solo R.

Leblanc W instantly peels whatever kill potential you had left. Syndra knock back and your whole engage setup is dead before even dealing a tick of damage.

Just stick to one tricking Leblanc and hope you make it out of Gold this season. At least she's picked / banned. Once you get into higher MMR she'll be banned frequently, good luck finding a way to win after that, oh wait just pick Eve mid XD

I've played her mid and top in season 4. You are squishy and jungling is way better, because the enemy mid will ping mia, so your ganks are bad. And she gets outscaled.

jungler must give her blue buff of she will literally die. And while some mid laners a jungler should MANDATORY give blue buff, that doesn't mean they will. Enter that type of game and your life becomes missery.
