Do you think Janna needs to get nerfed?

She's one of the most nerfed champions in the game, and I don't recall a time she was buffed, yet the late changes to support items definitelty made her stand on her current high win rate (55%). needs to be pointed out that soraka is right after her, another support that got nerfed but benefit from the coin change.

I know Janna is a strong support for a long time, but I really can't say she was truly "broken".. Thresh, Lulu for example were more of a threat this season when they were in their prime. do you think Janna needs to get nerfed or maybe Just buff other supports/nerf support items she likes?

NOOOOO. Absolutely not! Janna has been nerfed 5 damn times last season. If she is nerfed one more time, I'm done. I'll be cruising on 5th gear and putting League in my rearview.

the reason that nerfs dont matter on janna is that her kit is the definition of peel. she could deal 0 dmg and you could remove her ap ratios altogether and nothing would change.

the problem with janna imo is that she offers the same peel for herself as she does for her carry. soraka offers protection for her carry aswell but when you engage on her she is dead.

when you try to engage on janna... well... you could engage on her carry and nothing would change. you still get q'ed, ulted and have to deal with her shield and slow. and it is hard enough to engage on janna anyways because she can stand soo far back. either give her the soraka treatment and dont allow her to shield or heal herself or lower her reliability.

asking this question to the board is the most pointless thing i ever saw, any discussion with janna will get you biase from both side (bruiser mains and janna mains)

this question should be asked to meddler, and only riot can decide if she needs a nerf or not

I think janna is fine as it is right now.Dont see any reason for changing her.Her laning and teamfighting are not OP(they are completely dependant on skill).

you cant nerf that rat whore champ inless u want to absolutely gut her shields, mana costs, coodowns, slows, movespeed, whatever.

as someone said above jannas kit does not rely much on its stats because of how her abilities work

Janna was way worst back then. But she isn't OP.

The issue isn't with supports. Nor is it mostly with adc's - although some of them are an issue. Janna has her high winrate because shield/heal support item synergy is: stronger than tank support item synergy, way overbuffs aa-based champs (which mostly consists of adc's). Don't buy it? Just take a look at the "Chinese boosting strategy" of kayle top paired with yi jungle (or xin or trynd if yi is banned). There's a reason it works. Support shield/heal items just buff auto attackers way too damn much. These items should be made so that you have to CHOOSE maybe 2 of them max. Like ardent and redemption or athene's and redemption. And probably make it so the heals and shields don't favor aa champs over all others.
