@Riot, will these new elemental dragons have unique abilities?

Like, the fire dragon can shoot a fireball which knocks enemies back. The earth dragon can create an earthquake around itself pushing enemies back/knocking up enemies. Water could be... uh i dunno

Then, the Elder Dragon blast could be a KAMAAHAHAHAHA that shoots a bright blue blast annihilating anything infront of it, dealing 20% of a target's maximum health or something insane like that.

Some variations per dragon yeah. We're keeping them fairly constrained because we don't want to create cases where you feel you can't take dragon because of which one spawned. Our goal is to find effects that can be optimized around, or taken advantage of, but have only moderate sized impact. Current mechanics are:

  • Fire - AOE damage (just like current dragon). Impacts positioning when taking dragon primarily, some impact on pet users.

  • Water - Auto attacks slow. Mainly relevant if it's a potentially contested dragon, since the slow will limit your ability to disengage quickly. Some optimizations around getting it to attack an enemy for the slow situationally.

  • Earth - Slow hard hitting auto attacks that also AOE. More health, armor and MR than other dragons. Slower to take, giving longer windows in which to contest it.

  • Air - Fast moving and fast auto attacking. Highest single target damage, chases better than other dragons.

That air dragon sounds like it will be harder to kill for weaker (more fragile) junglers, like Eve for example.

How Will the Dragons affect Mordekaiser passive. Will he Gain the affects of the dragons or just the default one?

And with alacrity boots being removed, could we get 5 ms buff on morde while we are at it?

From what I've tested, doesn't seem like it. However, Elder Dragon has 33k health if you get the ghost, and you get a huge percent of it :D

Now what about that Elder Dragon, what does it bring to the table when we go toe to claw with that beast

To better distinguish it from earth dragon, what if water dragon turned the dragon pit and its surroundings into mud, creating an AoE slow zone (instead of linking its slow to autoattacks)? This would make disengages more difficult for everyone involved, not only the player tanking the attacks

That's awesome :P
