Worlds 2018: Missions, RP, and Tokens; The Math - Revisited
Hey... help me out here... I'm trying to wrap my head around something that I just realized about the World Pass and event tokens... When you cash these tokens in, they give 1 BE / Token. Now, each Orb is 300 Tokens... So with the pass there was 4 Orbs + 200 Tokens + Icon for the 1650 RP works out to something on the order of almost 1650 intrinsic value to the pass... In other words 1:1 RP for BE. Which is really bad.
From what I can judge, approximating champion equivalencies of RP for BE, BE is on the order of 1/10 of RP. Even if you use the pass to get an extra 1200 tokens, which is pretty good, that's still about 1:2 RP:BE I can't believe that I basically paid between .5 and 1 cents for BE.
(The previous missions, all year long, cashed out 5 or 10 BE / token. And the Orbs were 50 or 60 tokens. These tokens have a value about 1/5 of what they had in event missions all year until now.)
(I really wanted that Shyvana Chroma, and this was the only way to get it, but the rewards for the pass, the BE generated from the tokens seems really low. Considering that this was the one event that you could pay for, I would have expected the opposite. Or at least the same. Instead, we get less. According to how Riot is scaling this, I mean.)
These don't sound like big rewards anymore. I get 50BE for FWoTD, and with the pass, I get 15 more. With an extra 1-10 BE / game, I know... but ...
