Yellow trinket wards now last 1/3 shorter; we can carry 1/3 fewer CW. We're getting about 1/3 less use from our wards. Suggest the price of ward skins be lowered by 1/3 to reflect this. (Green smite been long removed from the game...)

The point is, that they nerfed a game element that also was related to a paying concession.
If they nerfed "emotes" (they aren't really, you know) so that you couldn't use them as much as you use them now, then I would also expect that to be reflected in the price.

You CAN get them for BE right now. And the price with BE should ALSO be discounted.

Well, yeah, of course.
As it stands now, ALL cosmetics are only ever available for RP, or OE with shards, EXCEPT during BE Emporium. So, even if it was decided to make Ward Skins available for BE, they would still be available for RP as well, just like champions. (Like, if you wanted to gift a Ward Skin.) (Which actually does happen.) ('Cause i got one.)
The point was that ALL of these have a value, and that the value of all of these has been degraded by ward changes in the current patch, and therefore that value change should be reflected in the price, whether it's RP, OE, BE or old Russian Rubles.

Yeah I never spent any money on mine either, mine were all from achievements or shards and the essence emporium.
Also, if you're quick enough, hovering on the ward's buff car you can see the source they're from, besides control wards. Then you'll know who's ward it belongs to.

They should also lower the ORANGE ESSENCE (or BE lottery) price of Ward skins. If Ward use is curtailed, then Ward Skins are worth less. (He actually said nothing about RP.)

They are cosmetic; they aren't supposed to be functional. I suppose that they might serve a similar use to beverage charms... to remind if the CW in that bush was placed by myself or a teammate... (since only one/player may be on the map).
