I think Exhuast does too much, and doesn't need the AR/MR Shred

remove it completely.

it's by far the most broken spell. who needs counterplay when you can just make an enemy useless with a simple click.

summoner 4 ?

Considering that the whole game has to be balanced around Flash?

Flash is basically broken too, but like you said, the whole game is balanced around it and almost everybody takes it.

The whole Summoner Spell system is basically broken. This can be addressed by splitting up powerful options (Flash into Dash and Passwall, Exhaust into a slow/ground and a damage debuff/resist shred) or by making everything as absurd as Flash.

the problem with summoner 3 is simply that it is an too easy way to counter Burst Champions too hard.

I think challenging smite does too much. it doesn't need any of it's effects.

They need to remove the slow too, and increase the CD.

It should be purely defensive imo, so having an resistance shred doesn't make much sense imo. Though I am fine with the slow.

if it's so broken, why is it not taken on everyone?

Ignite is sexier tbh. That's it. Aside from needing gw exh is always better

I'd say lower the damage reduction and increase the attack speed slow, while removing the resistance shred entirely.

Sure, it'll be a buff to frontliners and some assassins, but this spell should only mitigate them slightly while being a death sentence to those who shouldn't even be in range of it in the first place (aka those who scale off attack speed the most...). In which case, I'd say the range should be reduced as well, so it can't be abused in bot lane too much outside of dives.

Making it more effective but harder to pull off in that case might open up supports to picking other spells, particularly defensive/passive supports who don't like going on the offensive, like Soraka. Might even open up Riot to coming up with new summoner spells to broaden the playstyles down there, like ally buffs and the like (remove MS boost on heal, make a two-person ghost-expy or allow cleanse to be targetted rather than self-only?). Plenty of possibilities, I'm surprised Riot doesn't experiment more with summoner spells.
