Do i get another set of promos for the new season?

At the end of the season, or beginning of the next season, do we get another set of promos, or placement matches. or do we just stay the rank we are right now?

New placement matches. But you start around the MMR that you are now. So say you climbed to Gold 1 in the preseason. Your 1st placement game would be with other people around the Gold 1 range. Then your MMR changes based on how many games you win or lose in your placement matches.
