So are we ever going to going to get the ability to buy skins in champ select back?

I've seen a couple friends unable to impulse purchase in champ select. We were all dissapointed at our inability to lose our money.
Not sarcastic, true story.
You know you already "lost" your money when you bought the rp right?
If the bowl's never empty don't refill it.
your name... sounds familiar...
ikr was sad when I found out the new champ select didn't allow this

You already gave them their money. Rp is not money. You spending rp isn't giving them money since you already bought the rp.
But impulse buying at champ select may result in me needing to buy more RP because I got something I wasn't planning to get Especially if I end up rarely using what I bought impulsively
I literally have no idea what Riot is thinking when they make decisions half the time, if i owned a company, and people BEGGED ME TO MAKE MY ITEMS AVAILABLE FOR THEM TO THROW THEIR MONEY AT ME, i would do it. But for some reason they dont agree. Like, this is something that i wouldnt even be upset about if they just dropped everything to put this in immediately. It just blows my mind. I dont even buy skins, but its just dumb that it was removed in the first place or not made an immediate priority.

it's about making players not regret purchases or something. i think it's good ethical practice, although they are probably losing money on it. goes to show rito employees do have souls, unlike what many people think. then again, i would like to buy some skins in champ select. maybe a rental option could work?

Not only this but think of how many players forget to set masteries or summoner spells cause they're too busy shopping for a skin. I'm glad you can't make purchases in the champ select screen.

very true lol. there should be a reminder to check runes and masteries when the game is about to start imo because so many people forget to all the time
This is how I bought my Leona beach babe skin that I use twice a year.
I agree, i was thinking of buying a malphite skin, but thought "oh i wont be playing malphite anytime soon so i wont really need it" and i didnt get one.. when i got into champ select, guess who would be the best pick against the enemy (cant remember who it was now)? Malphite. I wanted to dodge right then and there to go get a malph skin.. but i didnt, i went with someone else.
100% agree here I bought most of my skins at the champ select menu since I don't go to the store very often.
