Riot: Show Us How to Improve Summoner Score (C, B, A, S)

MysterQ··4 votes·391 views

So first, I could care less about my summoner score most of the time. I just want the win, regardless of how the system decides to rank me.

But I know that isn't true for everyone. In order to help players improve, please show us a small "ToDo" list to get to the next score rank. Like S -> S+, average cs for an S+ is xxx on this champ (since cs seems to be most deficit) B-> B+, average cs for B+ is xxx, average KDA is xxx, average wards is xxx

This way we know what we need to work on. How we can improve. Also I think show us good things like (way above average ward, etc).

Please discuss this so Riot sees it.

pretty sure its a system that basically changes along with the meta, so flat numbers dont work. but, what you can do is some number juggling to get an idea. things that matter: kda(not just high kills, but high kills low deaths) kill participation(% total kills you participated in) cs(find the average of your champion at x point in the game and compare) for supports: kills dont matter, you straight up want assists warding(this is true in all cases, but especially with supports, find wards/time average for your champ) these numbers also change based on what position -you que in as- if you que in as support but end up jungling you wil be graded as a support. but when comparing numbers to champion averages you should take into account their lane average rather that overall.

if you really want to see your improvements, compare your own scores to your scores during your previous games

Yes. But the system is comparing your current score to a standard score, regardless of meta. It says you are here and missing this, this, and this. So it should show us what this, this, and this is.

Of course the stats are going to change. Gametime changes, champ changes, role changes. But regardless, the system is built with number goals in mind so it should not be hard to tell us what the next goal is (although it might need work to look pretty).

I doubt Riot would ever do that since it may change the way people play negatively in their attempt to just get as high of a score as possible.

That is on the player. But if someone is deficit and wants to improve (you see a bunch of threads on "why did I not get S (usually S)" Riot should implement a system to help the players know what area they were deficit.

Problem is, players already try to do that, except they have incomplete information, so they play negatively doing stuff that doesn't even work to improve their score. It's a bit depressing.

Riot has officially stated that they don't want players to know EXACTLY how it works.

Thank you. But times also change. And I am not asking for exactly how it works. Just for "tips" on how to get to the next stage.

Absolutely. Times do change.

thats where id go back to saying "compare your own scores" find the differences between your as and bs and so on. if youre relatively consistent then you can pick out what made the difference pretty well.

It would seem easier for the computee with all that data already to just tell us. It makes no sense to do the work like that.
