Guardian Angel is Obnoxious on 3+ Players

Am I the only one that thinks this is a problem when 3 or more players purchase a GA on one team? Wish I had more elegant things to say.

it really is annoying lol .. you just say to yourself I have to kill these 3 champions 2 times.....god forbid its an aatrox or tryndamere or anivia that buys it...or a riven

I recently had a game like this.

Enemy Fiora build full AD save for GA, yet she became unkillable because she was drain tanking all our damage. Between all the lifesteal items she purchased, plus her ult, she felt like a full tank, yet she actually built full AD and did stupid amounts of damage, she was just draintanking everyone. Even if we killed her, she had GA, and proceeded to heal to full HP again.

It was like this on every teamfight and that is why we couldn't win the game until late game where I could actually convince my ADC to purchase a item 3033 . We reduced Fiora's healing enough to actually be able to kill her and finally end the game.

I mean that's not really anyone's fault except your team's for not getting a Grievous. With pure AD/Lifesteal, she would've been insanely squishy. Getting off a single CC ability or Grievous would have ruined her.

The real problem is that most teams have to buy GA on 3+ people to survive any length of time if a fight breaks out.

GA should probably honestly be removed. Its basically mandatory on everyone super lategame, but before that its only seen on already super fed hypercarries who want to make their lead untouchable. I don't think its very good for the game.

Nah. What's worse is when the team has 3 GAs, a Zac, Anivia, and a Zilean.

I've been on the good end of that... Vi with a GA and a Zilean, teamfight starts, I go in with zilean ult, I get killed. Enemy thinks they got my GA, so they get that second pop and move on... until I get up again... behind them. There was much screaming in all chat.

My personal favorite is the Guardian Angel and lifesteal Sion where you kill him once, he comes back thanks to Zilean, you kill him twice, he comes back because of Guardian Angel, and you kill him a third time, and he makes one more appearance to ruin your day.

GA is a weird item. Either it's absolute trash, or it's really obnoxious and built by at least 1-2 people per team. There's really no middle ground that we've seen, and it kinda sucks.

Thornmail and GA have too strong of passives and they are incredibly annoying to play against I remember one person once saying that thornmail should apply grevious wounds
