Hey Riot, may we have Dominion back?

Yeah, they'll last longer than my ranked games!

Something I don't get is this... Blizzard allows us to make custom game modes in Overwatch, but Riot can't give us the ability to make URF, One For All, Dominion, and Ascension custom games? [sg-lux-2]

And before some smart ass says something, I compare Blizz to Riot often because they're essentially competitors, outside of the fact Riot is too scared to try and make another game.

Always hated summoner's rift. Tired of fucking ARAM. I just want to play dominion again as well. Sometimes I login only to look at the list of gamemodes and logout again...

I wish what Riot would do is give the community the tools to keep it balanced. Use it as an experiment to see what the community does with it. If it fails, well they just remove it again. If it succeeds, cool! They have to do less work.

They've said countless times they cannot do this. Opening a mode in Customs is just as much up-keep as having a permanent mode. They have to check balancing on champions (old, new), items (old, new), runes, ect. And they'd have to do it every patch. There wasn't a big enough community for them to warrant keeping Dom so they wouldn't do that either.

That server-draining so no, HOWEVER, bring it back for a weekend, why not... and to anyone who says "THey'd have to do a lot of balancing before-hand" lmao, did you see the last ARURF, Maokai and others weren't balanced at all, lmao. You were either god-tier or absolute shit-tier.

Fewer than 0.5% of players actively played it (and a portion of that were bots). It's not worth Riot's time and resources to keep it balanced and polished.

I miss being able to play Hide and Seek on there. Kudos to whoever came up with the idea. It was fun and innovative back then and I'll always support any requests to bringing the map back.

Rip dominion, all we ever got for your untimely death was an icon and your tattered broken corpse as a rotation gamemode that only showed up two times. Gone but not forgotten.

Just fucking give it up. You're all in the minority. Still fucking hysterical about Galio and Yorick being removed, but it's obvious that nothing will ever change.

That being said, I kind of miss dominion, and it sucks that other people miss it, too.
